Meet Our Founder & Owner
Kelly Peckholdt, the owner and founder of Babylon Barre, also owns Positions Dance Studio, which has been located in Babylon Village for over 50 years. Kelly is a lifelong fitness enthusiast – in addition to being a dancer, she is a certified group fitness instructor and has taught fitness classes (especially Barre, Pilates, and other mindful movement-based classes) for nearly two decades. She has also worked as a personal trainer and health coach in a variety of fitness settings.
Kelly is also a former public school teacher with a Master’s degree in Education, and she is committed to always find a way to make her fitness classes interesting, accessible, and fun. Kelly is an AFAA/NASM certified Group Fitness Instructor, a certified Pilates Mat and Pilates Reformer Instructor through Balanced by Dina, a certified bodyART Instructor through bodyART NYC, and a certified mUv Method Instructor. She is also the creator of Empower Barre Teacher Training, Babylon Barre's very own barre instructor training program.

Diana is a Comprehensive Classical Pilates teacher and the Studio Manager. She discovered Classical Pilates after her doctor recommended it to help manage joint pain caused by Lupus. Though initially skeptical, she became a dedicated client for many years, experiencing the physical and mental benefits of the classical method firsthand.
Inspired by her own transformation, Diana pursued professional training and earned her 600-hour Comprehensive Pilates certification from Power Pilates NYC, graduating on the Dean’s List, with extensive experience working with a wide range of bodies, goals, and needs. Committed to continued education and mastery of the Classical method, Diana has also earned Inelia Garcia’s Advanced Basic Contrology Certificate.
Helping clients build strength and confidence both physically and mentally is what makes teaching so fulfilling for Diana. She is especially passionate about supporting those overcoming pain or injury and invites students to experience Classical Pilates as it was intended for lasting strength, resilience, and results.

Ally is the Assistant Studio Manager of Babylon Barre and one of the friendly faces you’ll often see at the front desk! She helps shape the studio’s vision and daily experience, ensuring the space feels welcoming and thoughtfully run.
Outside of the studio, Ally works as a mental health counselor and holds a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Adelphi University. Her background informs the care, connection, and intention she brings into the studio community.
Ally grew up dancing from just 18 months old at the studio’s sister location, Positions, where her lifelong love of movement began. She is passionate about blending creativity, movement, and mental well-being to help create a supportive space for all!

Carly McMann holds a BFA in Dance from Adelphi University as well as a BA in Psychology. She currently works as a therapist with her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a Power Pilates mat instructor, certified reformer instructor, and certified through mUvmethod in stretch solution.
She teaches various styles of dance at Positions Dance Studio, including Ballet, Pointe, Tap, and Adult Dance. Carly was first introduced to Classical Pilates while attending Adelphi University, as she took Pilates every week to cross train for her dance major. She trained extensively on the mat, on the reformer, and in anatomy classes in her time there.
Fitness has been a vital part of her life, and she strongly advocates for the connection between mental and physical health in her work as a therapist. Drawing on her deep understanding of the body, she emphasizes proper technique and clear anatomical cues in her classes. Her teaching style is welcoming, engaging, and educational, and she is excited to share her passion for movement as a Pilates enthusiast and dancer at Babylon Barre.

Caitlin Alfano is a Registered Dietitian, NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, and AFAA-Certified Group Fitness Instructor. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Hofstra University, as well as both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from LIU Post.
Caitlin specializes in teaching Mat Pilates, barre, cardio, and strength training, offering well-rounded, thoughtfully designed classes rooted in safe and effective movement. She is deeply committed to staying current with the latest exercise science research and continually invests in her professional development through ongoing continuing education and advanced certifications.
Caitlin’s teaching approach emphasizes intelligent programming, proper alignment, and progressive strength building. Her mission is to help clients feel safe, empowered, and confident as they improve overall health, develop strength, and work toward their personal movement goals. She strives to create an inclusive, supportive environment where clients of all experience levels feel encouraged to challenge themselves while honoring their bodies.
Passionate about both movement and community, Caitlin loves connecting with clients and fostering a positive, motivating class experience. Meet her at the barre at Babylon Barre, where she looks forward to sharing her energy, expertise, and dedication to helping others reach their full potential.

Cyndy has been practicing yoga since 2002 and has traveled extensively throughout the US and abroad including Costa Rica, Thailand, and Africa studying different lineages of yoga including Bikram, Anusara, Kripalu, Hatha, and Vinyasa Flow.
In August 2017, Cyndy started Yoga with Cyndy in order to provide a fun, non-competitive, welcoming environment where everyone can come to practice yoga regardless of their age, size, shape, gender, orientation, or bank account. Cyndy received her teaching certificate in 2017 from Blooming Lotus Yoga, a Yoga Alliance registered school, in Bali under the guidance of Lily Goncalves and Ramananda Mayi and received her Curvy Yoga certification in 2020 under the guidance of Anna Guest-Jelley, a leader in the Curvy and Accessible Yoga community. Cyndy continues to further her yoga education by studying regularly with well-known teachers including Francie Fishman and Brett Larkin. In 2019, Cyndy was the host of "Talking Yoga," a weekly call-in radio show on MindBodyRadio.com.
In addition to teaching yoga both in-person and online, Cyndy also provides specialized workshops for women recovering from emotionally and narcissistic abusive relationships and beginner yoga courses for those who identify as plus-sized women. Her website is

Meagan Cifka brings her positive attitude, infectious energy, and huge smile to everything she does. A former professional dancer and swing Rockette, Meagan will have you laughing, sweating, and wanting more out of each workout, whether it be in person or virtual!
Meg began her fitness career as an instructor for Crunch Fitness on Long Island. She continued to build her career and client base by working with Equinox, SLT, and teaching at various private studios. She is an ACE certified group fitness instructor & personal trainer, fitness nutrition specialist, Pre/Post natal, TRX, Zumba, Barre & Functional Training certified. She also has Megaformer training from her time at SLT and incorporates many of their trainings in her classes & private sessions.
Driven by her desire to inspire and help others, Meg started teaching virtually on Facebook, Instagram, and over Zoom to keep her clients and class members moving through the pandemic. This inspired Meg to eventually create what she has always wanted to: her very own fitness platform. That is where Sweat with Meg was born, a workout platform for everyBODY, with offerings whether you want to train virtually or in person and take classes whenever you want! Meg loves showing women just how strong they really are, and she is so excited to be doing it in person again with Babylon Barre!!

Jackie Gatto began dancing at age three and continued her training through college. Her passion for barre and Pilates deepened in 2013 while earning her graduate degree in Dance/Movement Therapy.
Jackie is Power Pilates Mat and Booty Barre certified instructor and has been teaching since 2016. with additional training in pre- and postnatal fitness and programming for adults 55+.
In addition to teaching fitness, Jackie is a registered dance/movement therapist. She currently works in the nonprofit sector, providing caregiver support and therapeutic programming for individuals living with dementia. This work strongly informs her compassionate, inclusive, and mindful approach to movement.
Clients can expect classes that are athletic, music-driven, low-impact, and dance-inspired, with a focus on building strength, enhancing mobility, and cultivating a deeper connection between body and mind.

Jennifer Morelli is a comprehensively certified Classical Pilates instructor through Power Pilates. She has a passion for helping clients move better and feel stronger. Whether working with athletes seeking to improve performance or those looking to increase strength and mobility, she emphasizes individualized instruction. Using the classical Pilates system, she helps her clients enhance body awareness and move with greater confidence.

Liz Marie found her passion for studio fitness around 9 years ago. That soon bloomed into a drive for teaching, and she has now been a Booty Barre certified instructor for almost 7 years! What’s most important to her is making clients feel welcomed, educated and inspired. In her classes you can expect to be challenged yet supported in an upbeat flow. Since becoming certified she has always placed importance on growth as an instructor, and is looking forward to sharing this with the Babylon Barre community!

Jennifer is a 200-hour certified Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga teacher who completed her training in Bali, Indonesia in June 2023—an experience that profoundly deepened both her physical and spiritual yoga practice.
With a background in nutrition and a holistic approach to wellness, Jennifer’s classes go far beyond movement. She intentionally weaves mindful flow, breathwork, meditation, and self-inquiry to support nervous system regulation, inner clarity, and sustainable vitality. Her teaching style is grounding yet empowering, inviting students to reconnect with their bodies, cultivate presence, and move with purpose—on and off the mat.
As an inclusive instructor and sound healing enthusiast, Jennifer is deeply committed to creating safe, welcoming spaces where all bodies and experience levels feel seen and supported. Her classes are designed to help students slow down, tune inward, and leave feeling balanced, nourished, and more connected to themselves.
